WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I'M WORRIED THAT A CHILD IS BEING ABUSED?

All children have a right to be safe from harm.
Everybody is responsible for keeping children safe.

If you know or suspect that a child has suffered harm, neglect or abuse, please contact Ceredigion Social Services Department.

During the daytime telephone Ceredigion Social Services Department on 01545 574000. They are open from Monday to Thursday between 8.45 am and 5.00 pm, and on Friday from 8.45 am to 4.30 pm.

Dyfed Powys Police can be contacted on 0845 3302000.

Remember to act as soon as possible. If you delay the signs of abuse may disappear and it will be more difficult to investigate the concerns and protect the child.
